Has anyone experienced any MG symptons after a lengthy air flight?. I was on a 10 hours flight and the next day or so, my vision was a bit “out of focus” and very tired eyes. I would blame the fatigue on the long flight and time zone differences.

I do! And not just after long flights. I actually experience symptoms during pretty much any flight. My symptoms are more generalized than ocular, so I often get numb legs and very heavy arms. I usually need a full day of sleep to recharge, even after a one-hour flight.

I use my disability card to access wheelchair assistance at the airport and try to conserve as much energy as possible, but I still end up feeling exhausted during the flight and after landing.

I’m not entirely sure why, especially since we’re mostly sitting throughout the journey. I sometimes wonder if it could be related to changes in atmospheric pressure or the vibrations of the airplane that we don’t necessarily notice. But that’s just a guess!

I’d be really curious to know if others experience the same thing.
