It definitely changed my identity and being almost 60 years old and after 2 years suffering from MG I am still struggling to define my new identity. I always hated to limits to myself. All of a sudden I had to accept to live with the limitations imposed by MG. I became isolated, losing friends and having to fight for my job and subsistence. I am still learning to accept my new life and finding out who I am now. Some days I feel fine, some days are depressing. It remains challenging and maybe that´s what pushes me further.
